The Rescued Dog is an all breed rescue founded in August 2013 by four dog loving friends who have volunteered and worked in dog rescue for the past five years. We are a group of like-minded women with the common vision of rescuing at risk dogs from high kill shelters, educating the public on pet overpopulation and animal welfare. We focus on saving dogs from high-kill shelters in the Southern California Region with all of our dogs placed with wonderful foster families, while they wait for their forever homes.
